Developer: NOVA One.
1. Scope
This policy applies to the Android app Blur Photo: Hide & Censor Info. The app lets you edit photos, blur or cover areas, add watermarks, and save and share exported photos. The app currently has no account creation feature.
2. Photos and EXIF data
Photos you select or capture are read and processed on your device. The app code does not upload photo content to the developer's servers for editing. Exported photos are saved to your gallery when you choose to save them or passed to another app when you choose to share them.
When you export a photo, the “Remove GPS location & hidden device info (EXIF)” option is enabled by default. If you turn it off, the app may copy some EXIF data from the original photo to the exported photo, including the capture time, device information, and GPS coordinates if present in the original. Check this option before sharing sensitive photos.
Captured photos and temporary exported photos may remain in the app cache. Temporary files older than one hour are cleaned up when the relevant feature creates a new file; they may also be removed when you clear the app's data. Watermark templates and some settings are stored on your device.
3. Third-party services
Google AdMob ads
The free version may show ads through Google AdMob. Google and its advertising partners may process data such as device or advertising identifiers, IP address, device information, and ad interactions, depending on the configuration, your region, and your privacy choices. The app uses Google User Messaging Platform to request and manage ad choices where required. The app does not request ads for Premium users.
Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics
Firebase Analytics may collect automatic activity metrics such as first opens, sessions, and device or region information as provided by the service. The app does not log custom events about photo editing actions or photo content; automatic screen reporting and collection of the Advertising ID by Analytics are disabled in the app configuration.
Firebase Crashlytics may receive crash, error, and related diagnostic information to help fix problems. For photo loading or export errors that the app reports manually, the code does not attach photos, photo URIs, or original error messages. Diagnostic data automatically collected by the SDK remains subject to Firebase's handling practices.
Google Play Billing
If you buy Premium, the transaction is handled through Google Play. The app receives purchase and entitlement status to unlock the relevant features; Google Play processes payment information under Google's policies.

4. Storage and deletion
Photos saved in your gallery remain there until you delete them. Watermark templates and on-device settings remain until you delete them in the app (where that option is available) or clear the app's data. Depending on your Android settings, app data may be backed up or restored by the system.
Clearing the app's data or uninstalling Blur Photo does not automatically delete Analytics events, Crashlytics reports, advertising data, or purchase records already sent to Google. It also does not delete photos you saved to your gallery, copies you shared with other apps, or backups managed separately by your device or cloud provider.
Retention of data already sent to Google depends on the service, applicable project settings, and Google's retention policies. Google states that Crashlytics keeps crash reports and associated identifiers for 90 days before starting removal from live and backup systems. See Firebase's retention information and the Google Privacy Policy for details about their respective services.
Request data deletion
To request deletion of data associated with Blur Photo, email huynguyen352002@gmail.com with the subject “Blur Photo data deletion request” and describe the data you want deleted. You do not need to send your photos, passwords, or payment card details.
NOVA One will review your request and use the relevant service's available deletion tools or support channels for data under our control. Because Blur Photo has no user accounts, an email address alone may not identify Analytics or Crashlytics records associated with an app installation. If needed, we will explain what additional information is necessary to locate the records and verify the request.
We will explain the action taken and any limits that apply. We cannot promise immediate removal from all live and backup systems, identify records that cannot be linked to you, or remove data Google is required to retain. Data that Google manages independently, including Google Account and payment records, is subject to Google's own controls and retention obligations. You can use the controls and contact options in the Google Privacy Policy for those requests; they do not replace contacting us about Blur Photo's Analytics or Crashlytics data.
5. Data protection
Photo editing takes place on your device, which limits the need to transfer photo content for processing. The app's code does not upload your photos to NOVA One's servers for editing. Temporary photo files are cleaned up as described in section 2, and the EXIF removal option is enabled by default to reduce location and device information in exported photos. Photos saved to your gallery or shared with another app are then subject to the access and backup settings of those destinations.
For photo loading or export errors reported manually by the app, diagnostic reports omit photos, photo URIs, and original error messages. Connections used for ads, analytics, crash reporting, and payments are handled by the relevant services described in section 3. For Firebase services such as Crashlytics, Google documents HTTPS encryption during transmission and encryption of Crashlytics data at rest in its Firebase security information.
6. Your choices
- Choose which photos to edit and when to save or share exported photos.
- Keep the EXIF removal option enabled if you want to remove location and device information from exported photos.
- Open the privacy options in the app settings, when available, to review or change your ad choices.
- Delete photos from your gallery, watermark templates from the app, or the app's data; you can also uninstall the app from your device.
- Request deletion of data already sent to services by following the deletion request process. Removing local app data does not submit that request.
